We are looking for a Dealer Business Manager to be responsible for the French part of Switzerland.


This person will serve as the primary Steelcase contact for dealers in the region, building a strong partnership with their teams to develop Steelcases business and activities. Some of these activities will be: assisting with strategic opportunities, supporting the dealer in their commercial activities in collaboration with various Steelcase teams, coordinating a training program with our support teams, participating in the development of dealer strategic development plans, organizing marketing/commercial events to generate new opportunities and contribute to the success rate.

What you will be doing:


  • Grow Steelcases business in strategic categories and vertical markets.
  • Develop and execute priority and strategic sales opportunities (must win) with dealers in your region.
  • Achieve and maximize sales and profitability goals for a portfolio of decentralized accounts and develop customer relationships in coordination with strategic account managers.
  • Lead the development of relationships and agreements with dealer management, positioning yourself as a reference and partner, establishing communication and ensuring alignment with dealers.
  • Build and maintain dealer planning tool in collaboration with dealers.
  • Identify, characterize and develop new opportunities through networking or direct customer contact to support dealer growth.
  • Manage the involvement of specialists to enhance dealer capabilities and support specific opportunities.
  • Systematically use CRM (Salesforce) to manage performance and communicate with internal Steelcase teams.
  • Ensure and guarantee the growth of activities in defined categories/markets.
  • Initiate and implement actions necessary to advance the companys strategic priorities.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through a unique and exemplary experience.
  • Lead activities by mobilizing the necessary resources and stakeholders for success, anticipating potential difficulties and involving stakeholders in their resolution.
  • Promote Steelcase and its insights.
Who you are:
  • Solid academic background or equivalent professional experience in commercial training.
  • Proven management skills with experience in leading and coordinating teams.
  • Experience in a B2B setting, understanding the dynamics and requirements of business-to-business interactions.
  • Proficiency in office tools.
  • Experience with ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems.
  • Competence in using CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software.
  • Skilled in influencing, convincing, and negotiating with various stakeholders, including dealers, customers, specifiers, suppliers, and partners within your employment area.
  • Ability to involve and unite all stakeholders effectively.
  • Fluent in English and French both written and spoken.
