Your Tasks

General Mission

As a Buyer, you will have to achieve objectives based on 4 pillars, for Swiss and Global initiaves:

• Cost & Cash: planning and deployment of cost saving projects
• Supplier Partnership: supplier contract management, long term strategy with suppliers
• Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG): drive improvement with new ESG initiatives
• Internal collaboration & Organisation: ensure success, operating with all internal stakeholders and improving processes

You will be a key player in supply optimization and processes, from source to pay.

Main tasks

• Management of Direct Categories at country level
  (reagents and investments directly linked to the production of medical analyses)
• Negotiation and maintenance of supplier contracts
• Determining and implementation of cost saving projects in collaboration with Operations
• Lead and coordination of tenders at Swiss level and in cooperation with Unilabs Group
• Management of the interactions between suppliers and all stakeholders
• Support to Operations in case of escalation
• Reporting and KPI’s setting

• Support the procurement and supply chain objectives in cooperation with the team
• Act in conformity with Unilabs Quality system and values
• Respect medical confidentiality
• Keep learning on subjects related to your area of expertise

Your Profile

Education and Experience

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in purchasing
• Buyer degree or equivalent depending on experience
• Preparation and set up of supplier agreements
• Very good command of Excel (for data analyses and reporting)
• Experience in working with an ERP/MRP system, extraction of data
• Negotiation skills
• Ability to work in a matrix organization
• Fluency in French and English, German is definitely a plus
