As a Product Development Innovation Intern, you will develop and characterize innovative products in the Cocoa-malt beverages (CMB) department. You will collaborate with project managers, ingredient and recipe experts, sensory and consumer teams and participate in several project activities, such as product development, prototyping, formulation with new ingredients, pilot line trials, etc.

A Day in the Life of a Product Development Innovation Intern

• Assist project managers and product developpers in designing new cocoa based products, designing &, planning experiments
• Coordinate/manage bench scale & pilot plant trials to be ready for industrialization
• Design new prototyps and innovative formulations as well as product concetps
• Consolidate and analyse data to make recommendations on next steps

What will make you successful

• Master Student or freshly graduated (or equivalent) in Food Science, engineering or Chemistry
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Highly adaptable, open minded, result focus combined with an innovative mindset
• Autonomy, collaborate effectively within a team
• Excellent communication and organization skills
• Fluent in French and English
