Job Summary

The Carpenter specializes in the construction, assembly, and repair of structures made of wood. May install or direct the installment of cabinets, siding, drywall, building doors and brattices, or may specialize in producing wood components for use in products or systems. The skilled trade function is responsible for technical activities that support the manufacturing of goods. Those working in this function acquired their skills through technical schools or specialized training.

Requires skills developed through formal training or work experience.

Works within established procedures and guidelines with limited ability to modify approach and moderate degree of supervision
