About the role As a Research Assistant, you will collaborate with our experienced scientists and engineers to conduct critical experiments related to oxygen transmission rates (OTR) and oxygen ingress measurements. Your work will directly impact our product development and quality assurance processes.
Key Job Accountabilities

• Experimental Setup:
  • Design and establish experiments and protocols to measure oxygen transmission in packaging using innovative methods.
  • Assist in setting up laboratory equipment and ensuring accurate data collection.

• Product Application:
  • Apply your research findings to enhance the characterization of existing products.
  • Collaborate with the team to explore practical applications of OTR measurements in packaging materials.

• Thorough Documentation:
  • Maintain detailed records of experimental procedures, observations, and results.
  • Prepare clear and concise reports for internal review and presentation.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Ideally, you are currently pursuing a degree in Chemistry, Materials Science, Physics or a related field.
• Having a problem-solving mindset is a definite plus.
• Ideally, you have gained some experience working in a laboratory during your studies.
• English communication skills are highly valued.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to tackle complex challenges and propose innovative solutions
