MSC Cruises is seeking a dynamic and proactive intern to support our Head of Diversity & Inclusion (D&I) in various initiatives, including the pursuit of D&I ISO certification and other related projects. The intern will work closely with the D&I team to develop, implement, and assess strategies that foster an inclusive environment for both ashore and onboard populations.

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Social Sciences, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in diversity, equity, and inclusion issues, with a desire to make a positive impact in the workplace.
  • Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
  • Autonomous.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Fluency in English; additional language skills are a plus.
We are looking for an intern with a mandatory school agreement available to start in June\/July 2024.

  • Assist the Head of D&I in researching, planning, and executing initiatives aimed at promoting diversity and inclusion within the company.
  • Support the development of policies, procedures, and training materials related to D&I best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data, conduct analysis, and generate reports on D&I metrics and performance indicators.
  • Assist in the coordination of D&I events, workshops, and training sessions for employees both ashore and onboard our cruise ships.
  • Contribute to the preparation of documentation and materials for the D&I ISO certification process.
  • Act as a liaison between the D&I team and other departments within the organization to ensure alignment and collaboration on D&I initiatives.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, research, and best practices related to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
  • Undertake ad-hoc projects and tasks as assigned by the Head of D&I.
