OBJECTIVES

  • Providing strategic partnership and executive leadership support on change management and communications the C&C Partner will act as a single point of contact for leaders and teams regarding the change and communications services (Internal OCM, OCM as a Service, Internal Communications, External Communications)

  • Deliver best in class change and comms services across all products and projects.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Oversee delivery of best-in-class change management & communication strategies

  • Champion and drive change and comms within the organization and related projects

  • Influence and lead change management for product developments, services, release management planning and deployments

  • Operate as an internal service provider for the realization of the Product roadmaps.

  • Serve as a senior point of escalation for change and comms and act as the executive relationship manager for key strategic partners.

  • Delivery and management of change management services aligned to our standarized OCM methodolgies.

  • Delivery of communications services aligned to the DD&T vision and ensuring an effective people experience. Ensuring audiences are informed effectively about products, strategies and roadmap.

    • Execution of activities and services as required

    • Create communications plans, presentations, talking points, and other communications objects to amplify digital messages.

    • Provide guidance on best practice as required

    • Collect and maintain success metrics to demonstrate return on investment of digital initiatives and communications efforts.

  • Remain current on digital and emerging technologies and trends.

  • As a member of the Change and Communications team support other team activities as needed

  • All other duties reasonably required of the position

DIMENSIONS AND ASPECTS

Technical/Functional (Line) Expertise

  • Deep knowledge of change and comms best practice

  • Fluent in digital technologies and trends, particularly those that affect large healthcare organizations

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication in English

Leadership

  • Ability to provide guidance and to plan for and execution of change and comms plans in collaboration with relevant parties.

  • Demonstrated experience in building strong relationships to positively influence outcomes and affect change.

  • Experience establishing strategic vision with business leaders across complex landscapes

  • Experience acting as a strategic thought partner for senior/executive leaders

Decision-making and Autonomy

  • Ability to analyze complex topics and to evaluate and make informed recommendations on the best methods and strategies.

  • Full autonomy to lead, decision make and advise executive leaders

Interaction

  • Internal relationships required across DD&T community

  • External relationships required with vendors for change and comms services

  • Must be able to develop and maintain strong relationships across geographies and cultures both within Takeda and with external organizations.

  • Ability to engage stakeholders across the broader organization to build common understanding and shared objectives.

Innovation

  • Must derive energy and be able to create excitement for DD&T programs that support innovative technologies and new processes.

  • Must be curious about new technologies and passionate about finding ways to better serve patients.

Complexity

  • Change and communications across multiple products, projects and regions considering audience needs, diversity & inclusion and cultural differences.

  • Understanding of how a global organization operates and comfortable influencing without authority.

  • Operating across a plethora of communications media and communities.

  • Operating in a fast-paced dynamic environment.

EDUCATION, BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS

  • Appropriate Bachelor’s in related specialization area (e.g. Change Management, Business Administration, Human Resources, Training, IS) is essential.

  • 10+ years of experience in an area of Communications or Organizational Change Management

  • Communication – ability to communicate ideas and data both verbally and written in a persuasive and appropriate manner.

  • Analytical Skills – ability to analyze a wide variety of data and make appropriate decisions.

  • Experience in managing multiple stakeholders, change networks

  • Experience in change management for Digital/Technology products.

  • Experience in business partnering providing a support service internally to business stakeholders

  • Ability to lead change in a cross-functional organization

  • Ability to work successfully in multi-cultural teams and to build strong relationships with key local and global stakeholders

  • A strong executor, ability to implement deliverables in a timely and effective manner

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills

  • Excellent English language skills

  • Solid IT skills and a quick learner

  • Open to new ways of working and applying new methodologies

  • Flexibility to travel to countries/regions where necessary
